August 21st is the birthday of one of my dear students and friends, Jes\u00fas Guerrero. Along with his wife Adri, who is also a student and friend, they join us for our classes in Cholula and at Parque Ecol\u00f3gico whenever they\u2019re in town. These days, they split their time between Puebla, Puerto Vallarta (JAL), and Mexico City.<\/p>\n\n\n

\"Convivencias<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Ever since we met in June 2024, usually over a good cup of caf\u00e9 de olla, we\u2019ve built a friendship based on trust, where we\u2019ve been able to open our hearts and talk about our personal experiences and inner journeys. Very early on, we noticed how much our own experiences and paths of inner growth had in common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whenever we\u2019ve opened up during a personal conversation and brought something to light that had been hidden or that we simply hadn\u2019t noticed before, we\u2019ve been able to be there for each other, offering presence and support. In doing so, we\u2019ve helped each other see things from different perspectives and, at times, even heal old wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n

For all these reasons\u2014and simply because they\u2019re such wonderful, open-hearted and fun people\u2014I feel very lucky and grateful to have the opportunity to practice Tai Chi and Chi Kung with them and, most importantly, to share a friendship.\n\nThis time, we also got to celebrate his birthday together with his son, Jes\u00fas Adri\u00e1n, and the morning Tai Chi Cholula group, enjoying a delicious breakfast of traditional Mexican food and a really nice time together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
