From the very first day he joined our Tai Chi and Chi Kung classes, Enrique was a teacher. A teacher of willpower, attitude, and the intention to keep moving forward. There wasn’t a single exercise in class that he didn’t try, and most of them he did with dedication—without complaint and always with a smile on his face.

Very naturally, he won over everyone’s hearts. Whenever he arrived, the room was filled with a very special atmosphere—both solemn and joyful at the same time. I think many of us saw a family member, or even ourselves, reflected in him. Seeing him reignited that inner flame of hope: the hope of knowing that it’s possible to reach a very advanced age with a radiant sparkle in the eyes, with a love for life and for the people around us.

His daughter Doris was also an example. With love and commitment, she made the effort to bring him and accompany him during the morning sessions. On some occasions, she even practiced with us.

Enrique left us on January 9th, 2026, leaving our hearts full of the memory of his presence. Thank you, Enrique, and thank you, Doris, for sharing this small but precious piece of love and life with us. You are in our hearts.
